The loft is closed in and cozy. Now let's finish the closing in of the cabin by building the eave in the open area of the cabin.
The eave in the open area was harder to access than in the end with the loft. A scaffold had to be built to allow access to the peak for installation of the vent.

We put a bigger vent in this side of the cabin. And it took up some of the space we had to fill in.

The 4 little antique windows will provide some light to that end of the cabin. Here are the first two being installed

The four are almost in place.

And after cutting more of that extra floor paneling into various shapes, the rest of the eave was filled in.

So that eave area gets filled before the howling winds of winter find this particular hillside.

And as with the other eave area, there remains some outside siding work to do.
