The SECOND week of cabin building.
By then, the "Boy-Builders" had become "Grizzly and Wolfman". And their on-site building efforts continued.
It rained on Monday. The day was spent in the loft and over the open living area producing the oversize rafters.

And on the second day these notched rafters were dropped into place.

On day 3 the roof boards were installed.
... Easier to see than to do!
(That extra low panel is over the back doorway.)

So how did we place the roofing felt and metal sheeting?
Don't ask!
(But if you look closely, you'll note a nervous roofer hanging by carabiners and ropes on the 45-degree sloped roof chute above the cliffs below.)

One day was spent putting on the tarpaper roof "felt". The next day the same rope tricks allowed the harder installation of the RED metal roofing.

And while the roofing continued, other civilizing touches (like doors and windows) were added.

YES! The cabin is now in the dry!
(But you can see that a front porch might prove convenient.
And maybe some structure under the roof eaves on the sides.)
Yes, there is still work to do ....
To be continued .....
