The FIRST week of cabin building.
Results of the on-site efforts by the "boy-builders".

By the end of the first day the walls were beginning to rise.

And on the second day the corner posts were in place.

The last wall panel had to go into place to close it all in.

So here was the cabin by the end of Day 2. Openings for front door and windows looking out over the bluff/river scene.

By the end of day 3 the sleeping loft was in place. No sleep-walking for awhile.

Days 4 & 5 were spent on some interior walls and getting the rafters ready to construct. Finally late on Day 5, some of the first rafters went into place.
